Telly Says.....

What can I say, Kilborn managed to gross me out, scare the crap out of me and make me laugh all in one book. I don't know how he does it but he does it very well.

The setting itself, a deserted island that used to house a Civil War Prison is creepy to me. Why would you pick that island to take your "troubled kids" to? Because it would not be as much fun otherwise. A crazy doctor experimenting with peoples brains, the military involvement, a lovable giant who gets his jollies from biting people with his sharpened teeth and so much more.

Jack Kilborn goes way over the edge in this book but then again he normally does. Definitely not for the faint hearted or those with a weak stomach. For those how get their thrills from being grossed out, horrified and entertained (like me) grab Trapped.
